Tourist town,
nowadays a lot in fashon, that has achieved high quality in
tourist services and equipments, and that is one of the most
pursued and loved sea resorts of Italy by Italian and foreigner
tourists, and by the many famous people that every summer
crowd its wonderful beach.
Sabaudia is an oasis! Only this word can describe the town,
where the wild nature has left its more spectacular signs:
the big forest called “Selva del Circeo”, the
long cost dune rich of Mediterranean vegetation, lakes Monaci,
Caprolace e Paola, archaeological rests and sun and sea all
the year long.
Very fascinating and evocative is the view from the seaside
road: all at once you can see the calm water of the lake,
the white dunes, kilometres of the beach where the famous
writer Alberto Moravia was used to walk, the sea, green and
clear everywhere, and the promontory of Circeo that dominates
from south-east.
Sabaudia has also got the central office of the Circeo National
Park, with its Naturalistic Museum and the Visitors Centre.
